Solento is a perfect outdoor spot. The city is a small village on top of a little mountain. The views are 360 degrees spectacular. The place is surrounded by coffee fincas. A hour ride in a four wheel drive will take you to the Valley of the Caucos sp? and the home of the country tree the Wax Palm.

First is the hostal Plantation House and the surrounding views.

This is The Wax Palm trek.

First we hired a jeep to take us the hour to the Reserve. Lots of walking and picture taking. A real unique place.

The jeep ride back. I almost ate it when taking this picture. It doesn?t help when everyone in the jeep is chanting ?fall, fall, fall!” Bastards.

These last two I took from a ridge overlooking the city.
